I had an episode of acute knee pain in June 2013. After studying the
X-rays and clinical examination, an Orthopaedic surgeon confirmed the onset
of osteoarthritis. He advised me to avoid climbing stairs and sitting
cross-legged. The doctor also forewarned me that I would have to undergo
knee replacement in 10 years.
